4 stars for service because it's an odd concept - you seat yourself and order at a bar - that's not odd, but the bar is also the coffee and cakes area, so it doesn't really flow very well. Otherwise, this place is great. The usual breakfasts, but also some lovely burgers, wraps... you name it! Drinks range from teas and coffees to milkshakes. A great selection and very competitive prices make me want to come back and work my way through the menu.
Pleasant place to have breakfast. Inside it is well lit. Very spacious with comfortable seating. Service was quick and food came hot.
We have been coming to Ediz for quite a while the food is delicious and the service is spot on. So it being our sons 40th birthday we decided 12 of us would have a family meal. We had a large table and our drinks order was taken. Then it was ordering time. Think there were only 2 of us that had the same so the kitchen had a challenge. But every meal was absolutely delicious. Everyone couldn't believe how nicely presented and how delicious the food was. Thanks Ediz for making our family birthday party one to remember.

Met my friend today, we wanted to get some dinner for us and the kids and she mentioned she'd heard good things about this place but never been. I'm so glad we visited. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the food arrived quickly and was delicious. I ordered a kids meal of Popcorn chicken and chips (with a drink included) between my children as they don't eat much, I ordered Cesar salad with a side of chips, my friend ordered a veggie burger with a side of chips and her young son some garlic bread to have with the chips. The salad was the best I'd had in a while and my friend was amazed by the size of the burger. If I'd had room, I definitely would have had a pudding as the cakes on display looked yummy! Bonus of toilets available, with a baby changing table should you need it. Will definitely be returning on more visits to Retford, and be introducing Edi'z to friends and family!
The owners have put alot of work and money into the decor of this place. Love the serving plates. Extremely extensive menu, good pricing, easy to order at the till. Clean and tidy, friendly and efficient staff. Food came in very good time and was well presented. Tasty, good portion sizing, generous varied side garnish with balsamic dressing. Cake selection was large, although bought in and not homemade (these still tend to be lovely though). Can't comment on coffee or cakes etc. but rest assured we will definitely contemplate calling in again next time we are at Retford.

Truly wonderful food with very friendly staff. Twice we've been now and can't wait to go again. The chicken shish is so delicious, the portions are extremely generous and we absolutely can't recommend this restaurant highly enough!
